Why am I so tired?

We have all had days where we had to drag our feet. Everything just feels heavy and like a chore. Maybe we get to do some of what we planned to do or maybe we just never get to the pile of things that we really should take care of. This can sometimes last for more than a couple of days at a time and can really interfere with the quality of our lives.

Key points of this video:

  • It’s ok to have a few days here and there where we drag our feet and maybe even “goof off”.

  • However, if there are many days where it is just a struggle to make it through the day or to tackle what used to be an easy to-do list, then it’s time for a change.

  • First, I recommend to get evaluated by a medical professional to make sure there are no major blood or hormonal imbalances.

  • If you notice that you have a “lack of motivation”, then often something in your digestive system might be out of balance. This can be regulated with a whole food diet, proper hydration and also  acupuncture.

  • This “lack of motivation” however might go deeper than a physical imbalance. Maybe there are reasons why you are not completing or tackling certain things. It could be some kind of self-sabotage or a fear of certain consequences. Just sit with that for a moment and see what comes up.

  • One  major reason for feeling tired a lot is if someone does not live up to their full potential. We take on different roles in our daily life and maybe we haven’t listened to our own inner voice for awhile. Maybe we have been supporting everyone else in our life but have not allowed our own inner purpose to be fulfilled.
